Saturday 11th June 10-2pm (adults), 2pm – 4pm adults & Families

Stretford Public hall, Chester Road, Stretford M32 0LA.

The Craft Festival will showcase some of the great community craft courses that Trafford College run throughout the borough as well as profiling local craft businesses and helping those thinking of starting a craft business by hosting talks from Google Digital Garage who will present seminars throughout the day on subjects such as developing an online presence and how you can help potential customers to find you on the internet.

People Plus will also be delivering sessions and offering advice and information on the steps required to get your craft business off the ground.

As well as providing a space for you to explore your creative talents, there will also be a small craft market and so after being inspired by one or more of the activities on offer, you can buy some materials and get cracking right away!

The Craft Festival is open to adult Trafford residents (19+) and pre-registration for this event is advised.  Accompanied children are welcome to participate between 2pm & 4pm when some family craft activities will be running, but owing to the limited space in the building and capacity for wheelchair users, we would ask that you do not bring pushchairs or buggies as this will reduce the available space.

If you would like to save time on the day please pre-register using our on-online registration page. If you need help pre-registering or have any questions, please contact us by email community.learning@trafford.ac.ukor telephone 0161 886 7443 and we will be pleased to help.
