Bridget Collin is a freelance illustrator, her process of working varies from digitally constructed images to handcrafted and carved. What stays consistent throughout her artwork is the importance of pattern and surface; her paintbrush acts as a pencil, creating detailed mark making and elegant lines; whilst textural surfaces are constructed with paper collage and expressive brush strokes. Bridget often draws inspiration from her surrounding landscape; finding pattern and beauty in water puddles, tree bark and brick work.
